Director of Child Nutrition
Essential responsibilities of this senior management position include:

Plan, organize, control and direct District-wide food service operations and programs including the USDA National School Lunch program; develop and implement goals, objectives, policies and procedures related to District food service programs and student diet plans.

Coordinate and implement menu and recipe preparation functions; assure food service programs and menus comply with applicable federal regulations and nutrition standards.

Direct, participate and review food service operations studies to analyze and evaluate program needs, including services, equipment, supply, and staffing relative to optimal utility and cost effectiveness.
Compensation for this Senior Management position is up to $151,819 annually and $4,020 mileage allowance.

Director of Fiscal Services

Under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent of Business Services, this position plans, organizes, directs and administers the District’s accounting, budgeting, fiscal planning, financial reporting and payroll operations and activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, program accounting, budget preparation and administration, position control, student attendance accounting, classification of accounts, tax reporting and compliance and statutory reporting. Essential responsibilities for this role include:

Plan, organize, control and direct District-wide budget and finance operations and activities including the preparation, development, monitoring, review, processing, analysis, maintenance and adjustment of District budgets, funds and accounts; establish and maintain fiscal timelines and priorities.

Implement financial goals, objectives, policies, standards and internal controls in accordance with the California School Accounting Manual.

Analyze state legislative and administrative decisions, regulations, and policies to determine their impact on the budget operations of the District; synthesize information and provide recommendations for budget planning.
Compensation for this position is up to $160,488 annually and $4,020 mileage allowance.

Director of Safety & Risk Management
Under the direction of Deputy Superintendent, Business Services, provides strategic and professional leadership in planning, administering, and directing the District's safety, risk management and property and liability insurance programs. Essential responsibilities for this role include:

Plans, organizes, coordinates and implements the insurance, loss control and risk management programs, including self-insured and indemnity functions of property, casualty, liability, worker's compensation, medical, dental, vision, life and retirement programs and employee and pupil safety programs.

Participates in the investigation of incidents and coordinates the preparation of material and evidence for use in hearings, litigation and insurance claim cases.

Works with the Director of Maintenance and Operations to develop, manage and direct the District's environmental, occupational and student health and safety programs to ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA, ADA, and other related Federal, State, and local laws and regulations; works collaboratively with Human Resources to identify and resolve workers' compensation, return to work and job accommodations matters.
