CVUSD Celebrates Juneteenth Independence Day
The nineteenth of June is observed as "Juneteenth" to commemorate the joyous events of June 19, 1865, and Juneteenth celebrations occur in states across the United States. "Juneteenth" and similar Emancipation Day observances formally recognize the abolition of slavery.

FREE Summer Meals Available to ALL Children Ages 2-18
Beginning on Monday, June 16th, the CVUSD's Child Nutrition team is proud to provide summer lunch meals at no cost via meal distribution locations across the Conejo Valley and beyond. All children 2-18 years of age are eligible to receive FREE meals.

2025 Summer Work Permit and Transcript Requests
Work permits will be processed by the District Office located at 1400 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks from June 23 – August 1, 2025, on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. All transcript requests must be processed through Parchment.com.

Westlake High Student Wins 2025 Congressional Art Competition
Congratulations to Angela Liu, 11th grade student from Westlake High School who was announced by Congresswoman Julia Brownley, as the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for California’s 26th Congressional District. Liu’s piece, “Get on the Bus,” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol complex for one year.

Now Open: 2025-2026 School Year Enrollment for New TK-12 Students
As of Monday, January 27th, Online Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year for new TK-12 CVUSD students is now open! Families may proceed to the online pre-enrollment website and click on the "Online New Student Enrollment" button to begin the enrollment process for their new to CVUSD student.
