Jacqueline Luderer is a kind, caring and effective teacher who has made an immeasurable, positive impact on the students and school community at Ladera STARS Academy. A Special Education Teacher at Ladera for six years and counting, Ms. Luderer is known for promoting a growth mindset and for creating an environment which fosters a great appetite for learning. The Conejo Valley Unified School District and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to honor Ms. Luderer as the September 2023 Teacher of the Month!
Ms. Luderer's engaging lessons utilize storytelling, modeling, and play. She uses technology to fuel confidence in her students.
Ms. Luderer is also an exceptional communicator who regularly shares information with parents and guardians, coworkers and administrators. This open communication builds a system of trust through relationship-building, where all who interact with Ms. Luderer feel heard.
She is an outstanding educator whose professionalism, care, and warmth shine through day in and day out to her students, students' families, and the entire Ladera STARS school community.
On Tuesday, September 19th, the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District surprised Ms. Luderer with the September 2023 Teacher of the Month recognition during a regularly scheduled staff meeting. Ms. Luderer was presented with a commemorative plaque honoring her recognition.

Ms. Luderer is the first of eight Teacher of the Month recognitions that will take place this school year. The CVUSD’s Teacher of the Year will be selected from the Teacher of the Month honorees that are recognized this school year.
