Congratulations Paola Vargas, Selected as the New Principal for Weathersfield Elementary School!

At the Wednesday, May 3rd Board of Education Meeting, Paola Vargas was approved as the new Principal for Weathersfield Elementary School. 

Congratulations Paola VargasMs. Vargas is a dedicated educational leader with more than two decades of classroom and school leadership experience. She has most recently served the Conejo community for five years, and is currently the Assistant Principal for Redwood Middle School. She will begin her new leadership role at Weathersfield on July 1st.

“We are excited to welcome Paola Vargas to her new role as Principal for Weathersfield Elementary School,” said Dr. Mark McLaughlin, Superintendent of Conejo Valley Unified School District. “Ms. Vargas is skilled at connecting and building relationships with staff, students and families. This combined with her enthusiasm and commitment to creating and maintaining effective learning environments for all students makes her a great match for leading the Weathersfield school community on its path of continued excellence.”

Ms. Vargas earned a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. She also earned a Bachelor in Arts in Liberal Studies, Elementary Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State Long Beach.
