If you are struggling with household expenses, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) can help with the high cost of home internet. Launched in early 2022, the program offers eligible households up to a $30 discount on their monthly internet bill ($75 for households on qualifying Tribal lands). ACP households are also eligible for a one-time $100 discount when buying a laptop or tablet from participating providers.
The ACP eligibility and application process has been streamlined to make it easy for qualified households to start saving on their internet bill as soon as possible. To qualify for ACP, at least one household member must be enrolled in one of the following government assistance programs: Lifeline, Free or Reduced School Lunch Program (NSLP), CalFresh, Medi-Cal or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Pell Grant or WIC (Women, Infants & Children), Veteran’s pension, and Federal Public Housing Assistance. Households may also qualify if they have a household income of $55,500 or less for a family of 4 (add $9,000 per additional family member).

Si usted lucha con los gastos del hogar, el Programa de Descuentos Para Internet (ACP, siglas en inglés) puede ayudarlo con el alto costo de Internet en el hogar. Lanzado a principios de 2022, el programa ofrece a los hogares elegibles un descuento de hasta $30 en su factura mensual de Internet ($75 para hogares en tierras tribales que califican). Los hogares con ACP también son elegibles para un descuento único de $100 al comprar una computadora portátil o tableta de los proveedores participantes. El proceso de elegibilidad y solicitud de ACP se ha simplificado para facilitar que los hogares calificados comiencen a ahorrar en su factura de Internet lo antes posible.
