Principal for a Half Day Program Comes to CVUSD

Have you ever wondered what a typical day in the life of a local school principal is like? Well, on Monday, March 27, community members had a unique opportunity to find out. The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and Conejo Valley Unified School District hosted the annual "Principal for a Half Day Program," which allowed participants to shadow a local elementary, middle, or high school principal and experience their profession firsthand.

During the program, participants had the chance to observe classrooms, tour the schools, and gain insight into the exceptional educational experiences of students. Following the campus tours, a luncheon was held at the Palm Garden Hotel, where participants shared their personal experiences from their visits to the school campuses.

Thank you to all Chamber of Commerce and community members who participated in the 2023 Principal for a Half Day Program. There was representation from a variety of local organizations and businesses, including: Conejo Recreation and Parks District, YMCA, Bank of America, Warner Pacific Insurance, Mustang Marketing, Rind Print, Boy Scouts of America, Premier America Credit Union, Logix Federal Credit Union and more.
