National Black History Month is a time to celebrate and commemorate the roles African Americans have made in the history of our country; and to also acknowledge the profound contributions African Americans have made economically, culturally, and socially to the development of United States history. CVUSD is committed to honoring and valuing the legacy, experiences, and contributions of African Americans, not just during February, but all year through.
At the Tuesday, January 17, 2023 Meeting of the Board of Education, Resolution #22/23-06 in Support of National Black History Month was adopted.
