January 22, 2023, will usher in the Lunar New Year for 2023 - the Year of the Rabbit. The Lunar New Year is of special significance and represents a major celebration for people throughout the world, including families with roots in countries that include China, Vietnam, South Korea, and Singapore. CVUSD is committed to honoring and valuing the traditions and cultural significance of the Lunar New Year and the contributions and accomplishments of the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Board Resolution #22/23-18 In Support of Lunar New Year 2023 was approved by the Board of Education at their Tuesday, December 13, 2022 Meeting.
