CVUSD Celebrates National School Counseling Week
From February 3rd through February 7th, the Conejo Valley Unified School District proudly celebrates National School Counseling Week!
School Counselors reduce barriers to learning and provide the support necessary for all students to achieve at the highest level possible. School counselors are actively committed to helping students explore their abilities, interests, strengths, and talents and assist teachers and other educators to help students cultivate their intellectual, social, and emotional development. School counselors also spend considerable time helping families and identifying resources in our community to assist students and families. CVUSD is proud to celebrate our School Counselors for their hard work and dedication to our students and entire school communities.
The theme for this year's National School Counseling Week is "School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive,” highlighting the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.
Resolution #24/25-20 in Support of National School Counseling Week was approved at the Wednesday, January 15, 2025 Board of Education meeting.
Please join us in showing appreciation and celebrating our School Counselors’ invaluable contributions all year through and especially this National School Counseling Week!
