CVUSD Parents/Guardians are invited to attend the 10th Annual Conference for Spanish Speaking Families: Roots & Wings. This in-person event will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 8:30am - 12:30pm at Maple Elementary School (3501 Kimber Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320). Click here to reserve your spot to attend.
The program for this cost-free event, includes:
8:30am - 9:00am: Registration and Breakfast
9:00am - 9:30am: Welcome from Dr. Cesar Morales, Ventura County Superintendent of Schools
9:30am - 10:00am: Keynote Speakers “Our Community”
10:00am - 10:45am: Resource Fair
10:45am - 11:20am: Natalia Palis in Concert
11:20am - 12:30pm: Lunch and Closing Speaker: Tony Orozco - Disciplina Positiva

While Parents/Guardians attend the conference, there will also be a 10th Annual Children’s Conference: Roots & Wings taking place simultaneously which children are invited to participate in. This cost-free event includes: art, science, reading, sports, music, lego engineering and a mathematics conference.
