Welcome to Room 8!
My name is Charity Frank. I grew up in San Diego before getting my degree and credential at Pepperdine University. I've been teaching in Conejo for 23 years and have taught every grade level. For the past ten years, I have enjoyed teaching first and second grade here at Cypress Elementary. I live in Newbury Park with my husband and three children.

I am very excited to be a part of Cypress Elementary's 2nd grade team! Previously, I taught TK and 6th grade in Los Angeles. Before becoming an elementary teacher, I was a dance performer and a dance teacher.  Performing took me around the world - Europe, Japan, Indonesia.  I have taught ballet, jazz, and movement classes to students from the age of three to seventy. My family and I moved from Los Angeles to the Conejo Valley four years ago. I live in Westlake Village with my husband, two sons, and our dog, Ozzy.

Valuable learning occurs when children feel comfortable and happy in their classroom. I look forward to getting to know my students and their families. My goal is to help students become global visionaries, who discover ways to improve the world around them.
