My name is Esther Dyczkiewycz and I have been teaching since 2007. I have taught in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Mississippi, Virginia, and now California! I earned my Masters degree in Elementary Education in 2011 and I have enjoyed teaching across the country. I am so lucky to be a part of the kindergarten team this year, as early elementary students are my true passion! My husband and our three girls reside in Newbury Park. I love being outdoors, running, hiking, mountain biking, yoga, and enjoying the beautiful beaches of the Pacific. I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, and growth!

My name is Shelley Halpern. I have a Masters degree in Cross-Cultural Education and a passion for teaching. This will be my eleventh year with CVUSD. Newbury Park is such a wonderful community that my family has called home for the past twenty-three years. My three children all attended Cypress Elementary.

When not at school, I enjoy running on our beautiful trails, cooking and baking, and cheering for my favorite college teams: WSU and University of Utah! I know this will be a great year full of learning and fun! I can't wait to get to know our new Cypress Cubs.
