Madrona Elementary Principal Wins 40 Under Forty Award
The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its first annual 40 Under Forty Awards on Thursday, April 28. The evening's honorees included Hallie Chambers, Principal of Madrona Elementary School. All winners were selected based on their involvement in the business community and their vision for the future of the Greater Conejo Valley.
U.S. News & World Report Ranks Westlake & Thousand Oaks High Schools Among Best in Nation
Each year U.S. News & World Report releases a ranking recognizing the best schools in the nation and by state. Westlake High School and Thousand Oaks High School have been ranked among the best in the nation and in the state of California for 2016.
Five CVUSD Schools Win Gold Ribbon Award
We are proud to announce Acacia Elementary, Conejo Elementary, Glenwood Elementary, Ladera Elementary and Maple Elementary are recipients of the 2016 California Gold Ribbon Schools Award. These schools were selected based on a model program their school has adopted that includes standards-based activities, projects, strategies and practices that can be replicated by other local educational agencies.
Thousand Oaks ACORN Selected Two from CVUSD for Top 10 of 2015
The January 14, 2016, Thousand Oaks Acorn announced their choice of the “Top 10 of 2015.” As the Acorn explains, these are people who took a chance to make a difference in our community. We wish to congratulate and thank them for their contributions for making the Conejo Valley the great place it is to live, work, attend school, and play! We would also like to applaud two of CVUSD’s very own, Ana Alvarez, Parent Outreach Coordinator, and Dr. Ann Bonitatibus, Superintendent, who each earned a spot on that list!
Enrollment for Kindergarten and All Grade Levels begins February 1, 2016.
