Please join CVUSD administrators and teachers for a special Information Night on Monday, November 4th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at University Center (2801 Atlas Avenue) where important information regarding transitional kindergarten (TK), kindergarten and school choice enrollment for the 2020-2021 academic year will be shared.
At Conejo Valley Unified School District we have a right fit for every student. For families who would like to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their assigned neighborhood school, this may be completed via the School Choice Application process. Families who are interested in enrolling their child in transitional kindergarten must also complete a School Choice Application.
On Friday, November 1, 2019 at 8am, the School Choice Application for the 2020-2021 school year will be available for families to complete online.
Congratulations to Sequoia Middle School 8th grade student Ananya on being named the A.I. Avatar Mouse Microproject Competition Grand Prize Winner for her project: Cello Avatar.
During the month of October communities across the nation campaign to raise awareness and educate people on the long term effects that bullying has on children. The goal of recognizing National Bullying Prevention Month in the Conejo Valley Unified School District is to encourage parents, students, and staff to unite against bullying and share the message that no one deserves to be bullied.
National Hispanic Heritage Month began as a week-long observance in 1968, expanded to a month-long observance in 1988 and was enacted into law that same year on the approval of Public Law 100-402. National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nationwide from September 15 to October 15 to honor the contributions Hispanic and Latino Americans have made to our Nation and society. At the Tuesday, October 15th Board of Education meeting Resolution #19/10-05 for National Hispanic Heritage Month was adopted.
