This is her third year as a school counselor in CVUSD and her second year at Westlake Hills. This year, she will be at Westlake Hills on Thursdays and alternate Fridays. Along with Westlake Hills Elementary, Ms. Ayala supports Acacia Elementary and Banyan Elementary.

Previously, she served as a middle school counselor in MUSD for approximately two years. She has experience working with children, having spent two years as a teacher's aide and teacher's assistant for CVUSD Preschool. Additionally, she worked as a paraeducator for 1.5 years in a kindergarten and first grade classroom.

She earned her Associate of Science in Child Development from Moorpark College in 2017, her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSUCI in 2016, and her Master of Science in School Counseling PPS from CLU in 2020. She loves her job as a school counselor, finding fulfillment in helping and encouraging students to believe in their strengths and be the best they can be.

She has traveled to Mexico (Jalisco) and Europe (Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Czech Republic) and hopes to continue exploring new cultures. A proud dog mom, she has a Chihuahua mix named Memo and a French Bulldog named Groot. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and watching movies.
