CVUSD Recognizes May as National Speech-Language-Hearing Month

The Conejo Valley Unified School District recognizes May 2024 as National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, a time when audiologists and speech-language pathologists throughout the nation make a special effort to inform, educate, and raise public awareness of speech, language, and hearing disorders.

At the Wednesday, April 17, 2024 Board of Education meeting, Resolution #23/24-32: In Support of National Speech-Language-Hearing Month was approved. The district encourages students, parents and the community to bring awareness to those who are affected by speech, language and hearing disabilities. It is important that those in the community help foster a community of understanding and acceptance. By doing this, those within the Conejo Valley Unified School District and nation can help break down barriers and carry up voices.
