  • Cloth masks with two layers of fabric (recommended by the CDC) or surgical masks which fully and snuggly cover the nose, mouth, and chin must be worn by children on campus unless they are eating.
  • The current Health Office located in the main office will now be used for non-illness medical needs only: administering daily medication, treating abrasions/injury, lost teeth.

  • Room 21 has been converted into the new health evaluation room and will be called the Care Room. This room is designated for children who are exhibiting symptoms of illness. Our health clerk will be stationed in this room to care for our Eaglets while waiting for their parents to arrive.

  • PROMPT pick-up of sick children is MANDATORY for the safety of other students, teachers, and staff. Please make sure you have updated existing emergency contacts with our front office.

  • SICK STUDENT PICK-UP PROCEDURE:  Children will be picked up from GATE #6, which is the gate nearest the lunch tables. Please click HERE to view the location on a school map. Parents are to drive up to GATE #6, pull in along the curb, call the office (805) 492-3563 to alert us you have arrived, and wait in your car until your child is escorted to the gate for pick-up. Please be prepared to show your photo ID.

Message from Principal Laurie Davis

Weathersfield Elementary is the recipient of the 2020 National Blue Ribbon Schools Award. We are deeply honored to receive this award as one of only 367 schools in the country. Additionally, in 2014, Weathersfield earned the California Distinguished Schools Award. We are so proud!

Weathersfield is a “GEM” of a school that has been the best kept secret for far too long! When you walk onto the Weathersfield campus, you feel a sense of “happiness”. We provide a warm and welcoming school environment, and a school community that cares deeply for our children and their academic and social emotional growth.

Weathersfield teachers dedicate themselves toward ensuring that their students are provided with high quality instruction that creates a rich learning experience for all.

In addition to our highly talented teachers, Weathersfield possesses a tremendously dedicated and committed support staff. We feature a highly acclaimed music program where students learn song, instruments, musical genres and history, dance, and how to read music.  Weathersfield students move on to middle school with a solid foundation in music education. Additionally, we have a robust student council where students are provided with school leadership opportunities, and a community outreach program that offers our children experiences to make a difference for others.

The Weathersfield families are second to none. Our extremely supportive PTA and volunteers put in countless hours to assist our teachers and staff in providing our children a well-rounded educational experience.

We truly are the quintessential neighborhood school. Our children grow up together at Weathersfield. They learn the importance of respect, responsibility, caring, kindness, and honesty. They work together to achieve the best that they can be. Our Eagles are amazing!

The secret is out “Our beautiful school is a DIAMOND!”

Laurie Davis, Principal

Traffic Safety During School Drop-Off & Pick-Up

This is a friendly reminder to please respect and practice all Weathersfield Traffic Safety Guidelines. They are designed to keep you and your children safe during school drop-off and pick-up. Not following these simple guidelines risks injuring someone (most probably a child...perhaps even YOUR child). That would be tragic!
