Stagecraft is the perfect entry for our students who love theater, but do not want to be on stage under the lights. Our TOHS Stagecraft Pathway introduces students to the fundamental elements and principles of technical theater through hands-on, kinesthetic learning. These courses include an overview of professional theater and the skills necessary to produce a professional-level theatrical production. Students will learn the functions of the creative team, production, staff, technicians, and stage crew. Elements of scene construction, design concepts, theatrical lighting, sound technologies, and stage management will be introduced and implemented in this two-course pathway.
