Mrs.
Wynner teaches in the Learning Essentials Academic Program (LEAP) in the
department of Special Education. One of the many things Mrs. Wynner loves about
this program is spending time with another 2nd grade class as part
of our Inclusion program. Before she taught in the Special Education department
at Madrona, she taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade
general education classes also at Madrona. She feels so fortunate to have spent
her whole teaching career at Madrona!
Mrs.
Wynner received her Bachelor’s degree from University of California at Irvine
and then received a teaching credential and Masters of Education from
University of California at Los Angeles. When she decided to become a Special
Education teacher, she received her credential from California Lutheran
University.
When
she is not at Madrona, Mrs. Wynner loves spending time with her family. Her
son, Ethan graduated from Westlake High School last year and is now working on
production in films. Her daughter, Annie, is a Junior at WHS and keeps Mrs.
Wynner busy driving her around. She loves camping, spending long days at the
beach, walking her dog, and reading.
