Lang Ranch Library

Welcome to a new Lang Ranch library experience! Each week students will have a library lesson or story time.  This school year all library visits will be remote, for the safety of students, parents and staff. Library time will be at the same day and time each week.

Students will be able to check-out books from the Lang Ranch library.  Please note, this is not mandatory.  We will have contactless pick-up and return of library books. The number of books each check-out period is determined by grade level, but may be adjusted, at your request, on an individual basis.  This year the check-out period is two weeks.  All books will be quarantined upon return, and then cleaned before re-shelving or check-out again.

Wrangler Rules in the Library

If you, or anyone in your family, are feeling ill, do not check out books.
Keep books in a safe place, away from toddlers and animals.

Treat books properly, notify Mrs. Lauterman if you accidentally tear a page.
Save eating and drinking for when you are finished reading.
Return or renew books on time.
This year you may only renew a book for one additional checkout period. Overdue books will not be renewed.

Make sure you have either placed a hold or reserved your books two days before you would like to pick them up.
Prepare to be patient for those popular titles.  While we have multiple copies, everyone seems to want them at the same time.

Lost books must be paid for before additional books can be checked out.  Please reference the CVUSD policy on lost and damaged books.
