Welcome to Conejo Academy of Leadership and Language Immersion! We are home to the Conejo Valley's first Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Program. DLI is a research-proven instructional approach that prepares students to think, read and write in two languages, resulting in students becoming bilingual, multiliterate and bicultural. For the 2024-2025 school year, we are accepting enrollment for students entering transitional kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade. Students entering second grade can enroll in the DLI program if they previously participated in a Spanish-English DLI program or if they have a strong foundation in Spanish and English oral and literacy skills. Attend an upcoming information session or school tour to learn more!

The Environmental Academy of Research Technology and Earth Sciences (EARThS) is dedicated to helping students acquire the tools of inquiry and expression by delving deeply into subjects with a cross-curricular approach, using earth sciences and technology as a unifying theme for exploration.
Our students participate in a K-5 program where the Next Generation Science Standards and Education Environment Initiative components are integrated throughout the curriculum and designed to increase student awareness of the world around them.
A unique partnership with the National Park Service led to the development of our fourth/fifth grade SHRUBS (Students Helping Restore Unique BiomeS), second/third grade SPROUTS (Students Practicing Research Outdoors Using Technology and Science), and kindergarten/first grade SEEDS (Students Experiencing the Environment by Doing Science) programs.
Experiential learning where students ""learn by doing"" is a major component of the EARThS program.

Ladera STARS Academy is a Nationally Certified STEM campus, providing discovery, creativity, and exploration through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) education. Our students engage in a process of inquiry to answer relevant complex questions, problems, and challenges. Through "voice and choice" students plan, design and create rigorous projects to demonstrate their understanding of academic standards. Students own their learning through a process that includes discovery, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Our Creation Rotations give students the opportunity to explore visual and performing arts, technology & digital design disciplines through weekly sessions. We emphasize technology including a 1:1 Take-Home Chromebook Initiative for 4th and 5th grade students, developing presentation, collaboration, and research skills along with global connectivity. Our Discovery Lab provides students with a dedicated, flexible learning space for science and makerspace explorations. We are a 2016 California Gold Ribbon Award recipient.
