Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) is pleased to provide all students with a Chromebook through the District’s 1:1 Program. While at no cost to families, proper use and care of the Chromebook is the responsibility of the student and their parent/guardian. To support this program, CVUSD is offering Chromebook Damage Protection (CDP) program for parents to eliminate the concern and costs of repairing or replacing damaged, or stolen Chromebooks.

Without CDP Coverage,  Parents/guardians agree to reimburse the District for applicable repair or replacement costs within 30 days of reporting the incident. Additionally:

  • CVUSD Technology Services does not provide fee-based repair services for District issued Chromebooks.
  • Intentional or willful damage to a Chromebook is not covered under the Damage Protection Program.
  • CDP claims submitted after June 1 must receive approval from the student’s school principal before claims can be processed.
