In the Renaissance/Yearbook ASB class students get the opportunity to put together their yearbook for the school. This includes taking pictures, interviewing participants, creating layouts, and writing stories and captions about school events and life at the middle school.

As a class, one of our goals is to include as many students as possible in this process. Colina has countless events and activities going on at all times and we are truly the historians and strive to create a book that people can look back at and cherish for the rest of their lives.

Renaissance – each trimester Colina honors students for academic, work habit and citizenship achievement. There are 3 levels of Renaissance, bronze, silver, and gold, but all receive a pin and can celebrate every other Friday at lunch with music and a treat. Students will also receive an"Oops" card which gives them different chances, such as free hall pass with no points off. Gold Renaissance members get 3 oops, silver get 2 oops, and bronze get one per trimester. There will be 2 Renaissance parties this year to reward students for all of their hard work.
