Grab and Go Meals – Available at all CVUSD Schools Starting the First Day of School
Beginning on Wednesday, August 19th, the first day of school for the 2020-2021 school year, CVUSD’s Child Nutrition Department will be serving Grab and Go meals at every school site.
Students who are eligible for free or reduced price meals will receive both breakfast and lunch at no charge during the designated meal pick-up time. Students who normally pay for meals may pick up meals and the charge will be deducted from their Q account balance.
For elementary students, student ID Barcodes will be available on the August 19th at each elementary school site for pick-up. These unique identifiers will be required for students to receive meals. Secondary students will need their student ID to pick-up meals. After receiving the ID Barcodes/Cards, families will be able to pick-up meals at any school site. This means that families with students at multiple schools may pick-up meals for all students at the same school site, once they have their ID Barcodes/Cards.
Meals will be available for pick-up on Monday through Friday at the following locations and times:
· Elementary Schools: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
· Middle Schools: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
· High Schools: 10:45 am to 11:45 am
The District offers a Free and Reduced Meal program for qualifying families. The application process can be found at this link: http://www.conejousd.org/Departments/Business-Services/Child-Nutrition/Online-Meal-Application. Applications will also be found in the back to school packet picked up the evening before school starts. The program must be renewed each year, so please complete your online or paper application as soon as possible each school year.
During 1st recess, the cafeteria will be open for A La Cart purchases. That menu can be found on the CVUSD Child Nutrition Page or click here for the current offerings. These items are not part of the Free/Reduced Meals program and will be charged to the student's Child Nutrition Account.
Please note that families will be notified if their student's account has a negative balance. The District policies for unpaid accounts can be found here.
