Now Open: Enrollment for the 2026-2027 School Year

In the Conejo Valley Unified School District we are proud to offer a right fit for every student in our award-winning TK-12 schools. New for the 2026-2027 school year: Neighborhood School Enrollment for *new* CVUSD students opens on Monday, November 3, 2025 - the same date that the School Choice Application and Interdistrict Transfer Application opens. Please see below for an overview of CVUSD enrollment information:

Getting Started: Enroll Your New CVUSD Student at Your Assigned Neighborhood School

If you are enrolling your student for the first time in a CVUSD school for the 26-27 school year, you will need to first complete the online Pre-Enrollment form to enroll your child at their assigned neighborhood school. Even if you are planning to complete a School Choice Application - all new CVUSD students must first enroll at their assigned neighborhood school.

Welcome TK Families: What You Need to Know

All students who will be four years old by or on September 1, 2026 are eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in the CVUSD for the 2026-2027 school year. TK is the first year of a two-year Kindergarten program, where, through hands-on activities, students build connections, experience play-based learning opportunities and are exposed to academic skills that they will master in Kindergarten.

New this year: enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year opens on Monday, November 3, 2025.  All TK students are required to register to enroll at their assigned neighborhood school. Even if families are planning to complete a School Choice Application - all new CVUSD students must first enroll at their assigned neighborhood school.

Submitting a School Choice Application

The majority of CVUSD’s students attend their assigned neighborhood school via the Neighborhood School Enrollment process. For families who would like to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their assigned neighborhood school, this may be completed via the School Choice Application process.

For the 2026-2027 school year, School Choice Applications that are submitted between Monday, November 3, 2025 and Monday, February 2, 2026 will be considered “on-time” and included in the lottery process. Important: All *new* CVUSD students must first enroll at their assigned neighborhood school via the Online Pre-Enrollment Form before submitting a School Choice Application.

Submitting an Interdistrict Transfer Form

If a family resides outside of CVUSD’s boundaries, but would like to attend a CVUSD school, an Interdistrict Transfer Form must be completed. Families must complete an Interdistrict Transfer Form and submit it to their assigned, “home” school district. Interdistrict Transfer Forms should be submitted to CVUSD during the priority period (Monday, November 3, 2025 - Monday, February 2, 2026). Enrollment is contingent on release from your district of residence. Additional information about the Interdistrict Transfer process is available online here.
