Now Enrolling: Free Preschool Available for Income Eligible Families
Our CVUSD Preschool, with campuses in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park, offers a State Preschool program that provides free enrollment to families who meet income eligibility requirements. There are currently openings available, for eligible children, in the free half-day preschool program for the 2026-2027 school year.
CVUSD Preschool unites curiosity, play and learning, proudly serving children ages 3 years to 5 years. The school's caring teachers provide a well-rounded and enriching experience for young learners by utilizing hands-on, individualized teaching, combined with play and engaging environments.

Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) alerts have been issued from Southern California Edison (SCE) for our community, with the potential to impact power at our school campuses. All CVUSD school campuses will continue to be open for the day of regularly scheduled instruction when a school does not have power due to a PSPS initiated by SCE.
