Join Us in Welcoming Adrian Facio, CVUSD's New Risk Manager!

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is pleased to announce that Adrian Facio has been selected as the District’s new Risk Manager. Mr. Facio officially joined the CVUSD leadership team earlier this month.

Mr. Facio brings extensive experience in safety, risk management and compliance across multiple industries. Most recently, he served as Safety Manager for I.U.O.E. Local 12, overseeing multi-state safety programs, training, inspections, and emergency preparedness initiatives.

“Teamwork, communication, and having a proactive approach to safety is very important to me,” Mr. Facio said. “I look forward to working together with site leaders and staff on the continued well-being of our school district.”

Mr. Facio also has experience in Risk and Compliance, managing OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and facility security while coordinating audits and promoting a strong culture of workplace safety.

Congratulations to six students from our Conejo Academy of Leadership and Language Immersion who used creative thinking to recognize a community need, developed a plan for how it could be addressed, and successfully received a grant through the Time for Change Youth Challenge to support their causes!

The week of December 8-12, 2025 is Inclusive Schools Week, an annual event nationally recognized that provides an opportunity for our schools to discuss and celebrate how to successfully include and educate all children. This year's theme is Children First: Building A Stronger Tomorrow.
