CVUSD Supports California High School Voter Education Weeks
Did you know that California residents ages 16 and 17 who want to be future voters can pre-register to vote? It’s easy to do! Visit: registertovote.ca.gov and click on the “Pre-Register to Vote” button to complete the online Voter Registration Application.
With a pre-registration complete, as soon as future voters turn 18, at the time of the election, they can cast a ballot to vote. California High School Voter Education Weeks are: September 15-26, 2025 and April 16-27, 2026 - making it a great time to take advantage of the Pre-Register to Vote opportunity offered by the state of California.
Assembly Bill 1817 designates the last two full weeks in September and April as High School Voter Education Weeks to promote civic education and foster an environment that encourages voting.
At the Wednesday, September 3, 2025 Board of Education Meeting, Resolution #25/26-06 In Support of California High School Voter Education Weeks was approved.

Enrollment for new CVUSD students for the 2026–2027 school year is officially open! Start your child on their path of educational excellence: complete the Neighborhood School Enrollment process available as of November 3, 2025 - the same date the School Choice Application and Interdistrict Transfer Form opens.

The free, family-friendly Bike Rodeo & E-Bike Safety Event will take place on Saturday, January 24th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Redwood Middle School and is designed to help kids and families learn about essential bike and e-bike safety through hands-on activities and educational resources.
