CVUSD Recognizes Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month this May

The Conejo Valley Unified School District recognizes May as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a time to recognize the achievements, contributions, and history of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, and to honor the generations of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders that enrich our Nation and are instrumental in its future success.

At the Wednesday, April 15, 2026 Board of Education Meeting, Resolution #25/26-38: In Support of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month was approved.

This month provides an opportunity for our community to recognize the achievements, contributions, and history of, and to understand the challenges faced by Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.

Conejo Valley Unified School District encourages educators, students, and families to honor Asian American, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, and learn about their heritage and achievements through appropriate programs and activities.

Free Summer Meals

To help keep children nourished throughout the summer months, CVUSD's Child Nutrition team is offering free meals to all children ages 2–18. Meals will be available at designated locations across the Conejo Valley and neighboring communities. View the complete schedule now.

Summer Work Permit and Transcript Requests

During the summer months, work permits will be processed at the District office located on Janss Road. Additionally, transcript requests can be submitted online and will be overseen by District office staff. Complete details available here.
