CVUSD Celebrates Inclusive Schools Week!

CVUSD Celebrates Inclusive Schools Week!

The week of December 8-12, 2025 is Inclusive Schools Week. All year through, and especially this week, CVUSD celebrates its commitment to providing supportive and quality education to ALL students.

Inclusive Schools Week is an annual event nationally recognized that provides an opportunity for our schools to discuss and celebrate how to successfully include and educate all children. This year's theme, Children First: Building A Stronger Tomorrow, highlights the importance of putting students at the center of education and recognizes their right to belong.

During Inclusive Schools Week, CVUSD schools will host a variety of events and activities that recognize the individuality of each student and demonstrate how celebrating differences fosters a community of inclusivity, kindness, and respect, ultimately enriching learning for everyone.

At the Wednesday, November 19, 2025 Board of Education meeting Annual Resolution #25/26-18: Inclusive Schools Week was approved.

Inclusive Schools Week provides an important opportunity to recognize and celebrate the dedication and efforts of educators, administrators, students, and families in creating more inclusive learning environments, thereby fostering the growth of a more equitable and inclusive society.
