CVUSD Celebrates Classified School Employee Week: May 17th - 23rd

The Conejo Valley Unified School District’s classified employees are an essential part of our learning community. They provide vital services and support that help students succeed each day.  From caring for students and preparing nutritious meals to maintaining safe, welcoming campuses and reliable technology, their contributions touch every aspect of the educational experience. They make a lasting positive impact on the lives of our students and families through their guidance, encouragement, and dedication. CVUSD is proud to recognize and celebrate all of our classified employees during Classified School Employee Week, May 17–23.

The California Legislature passed a resolution declaring the third full week of May as "Classified School Employee Week". Districts are encouraged to adopt Board resolutions commending classified employees and publicizing the role of classified employees in the educational process. At the Wednesday, May 6, 2026 Board of Education meeting, Resolution #25/26-44 In Support of Classified School Employee Week was approved.

Beyond their technical duties; classified employees serve as mentors, caregivers, and role models who offer students guidance and encouragement throughout their school years. They play a critical role in the smooth operation of our CVUSD offices and school sites.

This Classified School Employee Week, and all year through, the entire Conejo community is encouraged to celebrate and share gratitude for our classified staff who keep our schools up and running while making a positive difference. Thank you classified employees for your hard work and dedication to our students, schools, and the entire Conejo community!
