Congratulations to CVUSD’s February Teacher of the Month: Euan Davidson of Conejo Academy!

Euan Davidson fosters strong, meaningful connections with students, gaining insight into their individual interests to inspire motivation, personal growth, and the achievement of educational goals. Mr. Davidson first began teaching at Conejo Academy of Leadership and Language Immersion in 2007, and has been making a positive impact in the lives of students ever since! A current 3rd grade teacher at the school, the Conejo Valley Unified School District and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to recognize Mr. Davidson as the February 2026 Teacher of the Month!

Mr. Davidson fosters an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment where students feel safe, seen, heard and valued. It is not uncommon to see trophies on his students’ desks that they received for meeting reading or individual achievement goals.

Mr. Davidson takes a multi-faceted approach to support his students’ success - including utilizing research-based strategies such as BeGLAD and Kagan Cooperative Learning to make content accessible and to accelerate language acquisition. He also collaborates with service providers to ensure implementation of accommodations and differentiate instruction to offer enriching and challenging opportunities for all students.

He is a team player who values partnership with parents/guardians and empowers them to be active partners in their child’s educational journey. He goes above and beyond to ensure his students have the resources they need to succeed, including securing grants for the school, which have allowed students to access additional math platforms and receive new biographies featuring diverse leaders.

At staff meetings, Mr. Davidson asks insightful, thought-provoking questions that encourage coworkers to look ahead, critically evaluate current and previous practices and maintain a shared focus on the school’s short-term and long-term goals. 

At the Tuesday, February 24th Conejo Academy staff meeting, Mr. Davidson was surprised with the February 2026 Teacher of the Month recognition. He was presented with a commemorative plaque from the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, along with a $300 teacher grant from the Conejo Schools Foundation, and received congratulatory wishes from CVUSD’s leadership team and members of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee.
