Congratulations to CVUSD’s 2025-2026 Classified Employee Outstanding Achievement Awardees!

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is proud to recognize the following Classified Employees for their outstanding contributions above and beyond their call of duty. These dedicated individuals make an invaluable impact on their school campus and/or for the broader District. They are problem-solvers, and take initiative to ensure their daily actions support and positively impact their colleagues, along with the students and families the District proudly serves. 

These recognitions follow the District’s celebration of Classified School Employee Week, which took place from May 17-23, 2026. These individuals were chosen from more than 80 nominations received by the District.

The recipients of the 2025-2026 Classified Employee Outstanding Achievement Award are: 

  • Britta Bass, Academic Specialist - Art, Madrona Elementary
  • Erin Botsford, Transitional Kindergarten Assistant, Banyan Elementary
  • Jo Fleischer, Site Computer Technician II, Thousand Oaks HS
  • Irene Gutierrez, Paraeducator I, Conejo Oaks Academy
  • Meredith Henderson, Custodian, EARThS
  • Evan Julian – Custodian, Los Cerritos MS
  • Mia Nelson, Benefits Specialist, Business Services
  • Laura O’Connell, Secretary (Counseling), Westlake HS
  • Christa Pasquale, Paraeducator III, Maple Elementary
  • Amanda Rogers, Secretary (Athletics), Westlake HS
  • Claudia Scott, Mental Health Clinician II, Thousand Oaks HS

They will be publicly recognized at the Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Join Us in Welcoming Maryam Azizi, CVUSD’s New Risk Manager!

We are pleased to announce that Maryam Azizi has been selected as the District’s new Risk Manager. Ms. Azizi officially joined the CVUSD leadership team on July 1st. Ms. Azizi is a California attorney who brings a breadth of experience to her new role with the District.

Summer Work Permit and Transcript Requests

During the summer months, work permits will be processed at the District office located on Janss Road. Additionally, transcript requests can be submitted online and will be overseen by District office staff. Complete details available here.
