Congratulations to CVUSD’s 2024-2025 Classified Employee Outstanding Achievement Awardees

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is proud to recognize the following Classified Employees for their outstanding contributions above and beyond their call of duty. These dedicated individuals make an invaluable impact on their school campus and/or for the broader District. They are problem-solvers, and take initiative to ensure their daily actions support and positively impact their colleagues, along with the students and families the District proudly serves.

These recognitions follow the District’s celebration of Classified School Employee Week, which took place from May 18-24, 2025. These individuals were chosen from more than 40 nominations received by the District.

The recipients of the 2024-2025 Classified Employee Outstanding Achievement Award are:

  • Stacey Coombe, School Office Manager I at Aspen Elementary School

  • Amy Feldman, Paraeducator III/Special Education at Westlake Hills Elementary School

  • John Henrikson, Print Services Specialist at the District Operational Center

  • Kim Jerrems, Campus Safety Assistant at Aspen Elementary School

  • Eira Laureano Rodriguez, Custodian at the University Center Campus 

  • Heather Neely, Administrative Assistant at the District Educational Center

  • Donny Ramirez, Maintenance Worker II at the District Operational Center

  • Pam Seman, Child Care Assistant  at Lang Ranch Elementary School

ROCIO CERRITOS, PARAEDUCATOR/BILINGUAL
THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL
Rocio is an outstanding Paraeducator.  She has been working side-by-side with our Multilingual Learners for about four years. Rocio is passionate, understanding, patient, and is incredibly adept.  Her students love her because she is willing to try her best regardless of academic topic at hand.  Rocio is a welcoming force to all newcomers at Thousand Oaks High School.  Rocio creates a safe environment for those looking for a familiar face.  Without a doubt, Rocio has helped many Multilingual Learners in their academic careers over the years.  Staff share that we need more Rocio’s in the education world!

STACEY COOMBE, SCHOOL OFFICE MANAGER I
ASPEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Stacey Coombe consistently goes above and beyond in her role as School Office Manager at Aspen. She provides exceptional support to all staff and students, ensuring the school runs smoothly and efficiently. Her ability to build meaningful and authentic relationships with all stakeholders—including staff, students, families, and community members—creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Stacey is extremely organized, proactive, and innovative, always seeking new ways to improve systems and processes. Her dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude make her an invaluable asset to the Aspen community.

AMY FELDMAN, PARAEDUCATOR III/SPECIAL EDUCATION
WESTLAKE HILLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Amy consistently goes above and beyond, exemplifying unwavering initiative and remarkable tenacity in supporting some of our most vulnerable students. She approaches every situation with a calm, empathetic presence, maintaining a consistently positive attitude even under the most high-stakes circumstances, which enables her to build strong, trusting relationships that empower students to feel safe, understood, and successful. Her profound impact extends beyond the students in her classroom, making her a true role model whose unwavering commitment to student well-being and growth profoundly enriches the Westlake Hills community.

JOHN HENRIKSON, PRINTING SERVICES TECHNICIAN
DISTRICT OPERATIONAL CENTER
Staff shared that John is one of the hardest workers they know.  He never declines a job, regardless of scope and short timeline for requested completion, all with a positive, can-do attitude. He is a team player who will help staff whenever needed and without hesitation. John does it all for students, staff and the District so we all have the best and most professional printed material possible!

KIM JERREMS, CAMPUS SAFETY ASSISTANT
ASPEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Kim has been a committed, incredibly hard-working and helpful employee at Aspen for many years. She is a consistent, calming presence for students who she has spent years building rapport with at recesses and lunches. Many things that Kim does make such a positive difference...including always making time to visit student performances or events...her impact is felt everywhere. Kim is someone that can always be depended on and will go out of her way to make a difference to the individuals around her. Staff share that they are so grateful to have her as part of the Aspen community. 

EIRA LAUREANO RODRIQUEZ, CUSTODIAN
UNIVERSITY CENTER CAMPUS
Eira's impact is profoundly felt across the entire University campus; she ensures the environment is immaculately clean, safe, and well-maintained, expertly managing the complex custodial needs of three distinct programs with unparalleled efficiency and grace. Beyond her exceptional work ethic, Eira brings genuine care and a welcoming spirit to every task, patiently engaging with curious 3-year-olds, readily assisting with cleanups, furniture moves, and repairs, and always greeting everyone with a warm smile. Her willingness to train new district custodians, coupled with her friendly, kind, and reliable nature, demonstrates her exemplary leadership and makes her an invaluable asset and a beloved cornerstone of the school community.

HEATHER NEELY, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL CENTER
Heather Neely goes above and beyond with each task she undertakes.  Not only is she knowledgeable and extremely tech savvy, but Heather is also the go-to person in Instructional Services when they need an "architect" for some of their bigger projects.  She is always approachable, and her input is sought on a daily basis. Heather is professional, helpful, and responsive to her school sites, parents and guardians, and co-workers. The instructional services team feels privileged to work alongside Heather.  

DONNY RAMIREZ, MAINTENANCE WORKER
DISTRICT OPERATIONAL CENTER
Donny reports to sites on a regular basis with a skillset for repairing most anything.  He expertly fixes, takes-down, takes apart, cleans-out, and moves items both large and small with a willing attitude to help in any way he can.  He has creative ways of making repairs and every task is completed with care. Staff not only appreciate Donny’s skills and positive approach to each task, but also his ever-present kindness.

PAMELA SEMAN, CHILD CARE ASSISTANT
LANG RANCH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Pam is outstanding with students and families at Lang Ranch. She is always positive and creative in every aspect of her role. She steps in whenever support is needed, particularly in unique and unexpected circumstances. She often comes in early to help set up activities and make sure the childcare room is ready for students.  She is also remarkably considerate of student needs, particularly those of our youngest learners, as evidenced by her taking the time to make signs for the TK students to find their classrooms. 

JAIME TAYLOR, SCHOOL OFFICE MANAGER II
SEQUOIA MIDDLE SCHOOL
Jaime is an indispensable member of the Sequoia team, effortlessly juggling countless responsibilities with a smile and a caring heart. She masterfully coordinates substitute teachers, assists staff, arranges school tours, manages orders and the budget, and handles incessant phone inquiries—all while keeping Mrs. DiDomizio on her toes. Jaime's efforts ensure the school's smooth daily operation and uplift everyone with her positive spirit. This year Jaime stepped up, coordinating communication, managing logistics, and supporting administration to ensure staff and student safety as well as continuity of operations. Jaime consistently goes above and beyond taking on multiple roles, including attendance, registrar, and health clerk, without skipping a beat. Jaime’s dedication and tireless commitment make her truly deserving of this recognition.


The Board of Education will publicly recognize the award recipients at the Board of Education Meeting on June 18th. We thank this year's awardees for their invaluable contributions and congratulate them on being selected as  2024-2025 Classified Employee Outstanding Achievement Awardees!
