The 2026-2027 Free / Reduced Meal Application affects a variety of areas unrelated to school meals, including school funding, college application fees, SAT fees, bus passes and more. Even if your child does not plan to eat school lunches, it is important to fill out this online form to help ensure our schools and families receive the available resources.

CVUSD Families Annual Updates are Required

We look forward to welcoming students back for the 2026-2027 school year on Wednesday, August 19th! As with each new school year, required Annual Updates must be completed via the online Q Parent Connection by parents/guardians prior to the first day of instruction.

Chromebook ADP Available

We are proud to provide all students with a Chromebook through the District’s 1:1 Program. To support this program, CVUSD is offering a Chromebook Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) program for families to eliminate the concern and costs of repairing or replacing damaged, or stolen Chromebooks.

Measure I Committee Seeking Applicants

Personnel Commission - Apply to Serve

The CVUSD is seeking qualified community members to apply for appointment to the Personnel Commission and respectfully requests your assistance in sharing this opportunity with those who may be interested in serving. The Personnel Commission is an independent three-member body that oversees the District’s Merit System for classified employees.

Shane Craven - 40 Under Forty Honoree

Congratulations to Dr. Shane Craven, Principal of Aspen Elementary School on being selected as a 40 Under Forty Honoree by the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Now in its 11th year, this annual recognition celebrates 40 emerging local leaders who are making a lasting impact across the Conejo Valley and beyond.

Student Device and Technology Use Updates

During the 25–26 school year, the CVUSD formed a Technology Committee composed of stakeholders representing a variety of roles. The work from this Committee, along with a review of proposed amendments to district technology policies, were presented to the Board of Education in May. As a result of this collaborative work, and building on the District’s existing technology use practices, a variety of updates will be implemented for the 26-27 school year.

Join Us in Welcoming Maryam Azizi, CVUSD’s New Risk Manager!

We are pleased to announce that Maryam Azizi has been selected as the District’s new Risk Manager. Ms. Azizi officially joined the CVUSD leadership team on July 1st. Ms. Azizi is a California attorney who brings a breadth of experience to her new role with the District.
