Each year Sycamore Canyon School celebrates March 14th, also known as Pi Day, with a friendly quest to see how many digits of Pi students in grades 6-8 can memorize with the hope of becoming the school's new "Pi Recitation Champion!" A banner even hangs in the school's gymnasium displaying over 15 years worth of student names - who all successfully named the most digits of Pi that year. This year an incredible new record was set.

Message of Unity

We, as a school community, are at our best when we support one another, stand up for one another and work together. Over the past year, there has been an increase in hate crimes against members of the AAPI community, including this week’s devastating and senseless acts of violence in Georgia. Our District condemns these racially motivated acts and we stand together, in support of our diverse community of learners, their families, our staff and the broader AAPI community.
