CVUSD's Parent Outreach Program proudly presents the 8th Annual Conference for Spanish Speaking Parents: My Identity - "Life's Paths are Not What I Thought They Were," on Thursday, January 20th at 6pm via Zoom. This virtual conference will feature Dr. Jose Manuel Villarreal, Educational Leader and Champion for Low Income Students as the guest speaker. English translation will be available upon request.&
As the end of Winter Break approaches, coupled with the recent rise in COVID cases, and the Omicron variant, we have received questions and concerns from community members regarding protocols for returning to school after Winter Break. Our CVUSD schools will open for in-person instruction on Monday, January 3, 2022, as planned, with our ongoing commitment to the health, safety and well-being of the CVUSD community stronger than ever.

We are excited to share that the Conejo Valley’s first Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program arrives August 2022 for kindergarten! DLI is a research-proven instructional approach that prepares students to think, read and write in two languages, resulting in students becoming bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. There will be a "pop-up" COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine Clinic this Saturday, December 11th from 1pm-4pm in the parking lot of the Conejo Valley Unified School District's Educational Center located at 1400 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. The Pfizer vaccine will be available for individuals who are five years of age and older. This Vaccine Clinic is hosted by COVID CLINIC in partnership with the California Department of Public Health. Walk-ins will be permitted the day of the event OR families may schedule appointments in advance, via the available links.
