CVUSD Preschool is accepting applications for full and part day year round programs serving children 18months – 5 years. Congratulations to Michael Niemczyk who was announced as the new Principal of Westlake Hills Elementary School at the Tuesday, May 18, 2021 Board of Education meeting for the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Mr. Niemczyk has most recently served as the Assistant Principal for Colina Middle School where he implemented a model CORE program, developed an innovative ELD intervention weekly model, led school assemblies and organized student activities, along with other key leadership duties.
Congratulations to Karla DiDomizio who was announced as the new Principal of Sequoia Middle School at the Tuesday, May 18, 2021 Board of Education meeting for the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Mrs. DiDomizio has most recently served as the Assistant Principal for Sequoia Middle School.
In a special, virtual celebration Brynn Hutchison was announced as the Conejo Valley Unified School District’s “Teacher of the Year 2021” with colleagues, District leadership, family and members from the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce in attendance. Ms. Hutchison is currently a SHINE Homeschool teacher, and in previous years taught grades 3-5 at Banyan Elementary School. Earlier this school year, she was named CVUSD’s November 2020 Teacher of the Month, which put her in the running to receive the prestigious “Teacher of the Year 2021” recognition.
The FCC has initiated the Emergency Broadband Benefit to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.
