CVUSD’s Post-Secondary Program Announces New Name: Conejo Oaks Academy

With support and engagement from key stakeholders, Conejo Valley Unified School District’s Post-Secondary Program will unveil a new program name: Conejo Oaks Academy. Current post-secondary students, families and staff selected the name through a survey, which included the top five name options submitted by stakeholders. An official dedication ceremony for the new name will take place on Thursday, June 10th at 9am, as part of the program’s graduation event.

Little Steven's Virtual Classroom Tour Comes to Newbury Park High

On Thursday, May 27, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Little Steven Van Zandt visited, via Zoom, Mr. Bradley’s Comparative Religions class at Newbury Park High School, as one of eleven classes throughout the United States, on the TeachRock tour, during the class’s unit of study Religion and the Beatles?  This unit of study examines the religious background and views of the groundbreaking musical group The Beatles.

Preparing for the next school year has begun, and we need your feedback! As previously communicated, the District is planning the 2021-2022 school year with a return to full-day, five days per week, on-campus learning schedules for students across all grades. We recognize that choices related to a student's preferred learning model and location remain important to our students and families.
