The CVUSD BreakThrough Student Assistance Program and the Conejo Schools Foundation recently hosted the April Parent/Guardian Workshop: "Communicating with your LGBTQ Child" presented by John Sovec. This interactive workshop discussed tools to communicate better with children, build awareness of the unique needs of their LGBTQ child and explore how the coming out process is a journey for the entire family. Congratulations to Rebecca W. of Lang Ranch Elementary who won 1st place in the InvestWrite® competition for the 4th-5th grade division at the state level! Rebecca is a member of Ms. Ackmann’s 5th grade class, which participated in the Fall 2020 Stock Market Game, with 11 students from the class submitting essays to InvestWrite®.
