Board of Education Initiates Process for Superintendent Succession

The Board of Education (Board) of the Conejo Valley Unified School District has initiated its process for selecting a new superintendent.  As a district, we are committed to keeping our employees and the public informed on the progress of this very important role of our Board.

At the Special Board Meeting this evening, May 1st, the Board decided to pursue advice from the Ventura County Office of Education on various possibilities, including exploring acting, interim and permanent appointments for superintendent.  A tentative Board meeting schedule dedicated to superintendent succession planning follows:

Monday May 8
Open Session: 4:00pm
Closed Session: 4:30pm

Tuesday May 9
Open Session: 4:00pm
Closed Session: 4:30pm

Tuesday May 30

Each meeting listed will be confirmed and posted per normal procedures.  All Open Sessions will be live-streamed and recorded.  The CVUSD Communications Department will send all future updates.
