Los Angeles Rams & Wells Fargo Partner with American Red Cross to Host "Holiday Mail for Heroes" Campaign at Acacia Elementary School

Los Angeles Rams team up with community do-gooders and elementary school students to bring holiday cheer to overseas service men and women

On Thursday, November 10, 2016 Los Angeles Rams players, staff, cheerleaders, and mascot Rampage, joined Wells Fargo and American Red Cross representatives at Acacia Elementary School in Thousand Oaks as part of the American Red Cross’ “Holiday Mail for Heroes” campaign.

During the visit, the volunteers helped the students personalize holiday cards featuring an image of Rams Defensive Tackle Aaron Donald to send to service men and women overseas. Rams players Michael Brockers and Aaron Donalds were on hand for the special event and visited each Acacia classroom to help students personalize the holiday cards.

This event is part of the Rams staff day of service. Since 2009, the Rams front office staff has hosted monthly volunter events with local non-profits. Through these Staff Days of Service the Rams have provided more than 12,000 hours of community service.

Conejo Valley Unified School District thanks the Los Angeles Rams and its community partners for visiting Acacia Elementary School and showing students first hand the importance of giving back and showing appreciation to our service men and women!
