Join us in Welcoming Dr. Dwight Rogers: CVUSD’s New Assistant Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Dwight Rogers to his new role as the Assistant Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Conejo Valley Unified School District.

Dr. Rogers’ career in education spans more than two decades. He has most recently held school administrator roles as the Principal for a K-8 School in Northern California and prior to that, served as High School Vice Principal for both comprehensive and alternative schools. Dr. Rogers also has experience serving as a Counselor in Social Services, the California Army National Guard and prior to that, he served in the United States Air Force.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Rogers to the CVUSD,” said Dr. Mark McLaughlin, Superintendent. “Dr. Rogers’ leadership skills and his commitment to the success of all students will be an invaluable addition to our District as we begin the 2022-2023 school year.”

Through this role, Dr. Rogers will provide leadership, coordination and support of the ongoing development, implementation and administration of all phases of the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts of the CVUSD.

Dr. Rogers earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Trident University International, a Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of Redlands, and a Bachelors in Sociology from Chapman University. He also has a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (School Counselor) and an Administrative Credential.
