Charity Karaoke, Sing for a Cause - Returns to the Conejo on August 7th

Get ready for a karaoke showdown on Sunday, August 7th at 6 p.m. at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills!

Charity Karaoke Sing for a Cause
is Conejo Valley’s musical fundraiser, benefiting 20 local nonprofits in one fundraising event.  

CVUSD's Director of High School Education, Brian Mercer will be hitting the stage and channeling Johnny Cash as he sings for a great cause: the 
Conejo Schools Foundation, benefiting CVUSD students. 

Thinking of sponsorship? Ticket sales benefit all charities, but Brian Mercer can be sponsored directly here with 80% of your donation benefiting the Conejo Schools Foundation, and 20% of the proceeds benefiting the Conejo Senior Volunteer Program. Win/Win! Charity Karaoke, Sing for a Cause, is hosted by Conejo Senior Volunteer Program which provides opportunities for adults age 55 and older to use their life experience and skills to meet local community needs.

The karaoke singers will perform on stage on August 7h with a live band and compete for the title "Best Performance" based on audience voting.

The Canyon Club is located at 28912 Roadside Drive in Agoura Hills. 

Competition: The Karaoke Singers and Nonprofits race to collect donations before the deadline, each hoping to raise the most money and win a cash donation prize for their charity of $1,000. Support your favorite karaoke contestant and Nonprofit by making a donation to help them win!

Competition: The Karaoke Singers perform on stage with a live band, each trying to earn the audience’s text-vote to win “Voter’s Choice.” NEW IN 2022: Only people attending the event can vote, ONE VOTE per person. FIRST PLACE contestant with the most votes wins $3,000 for their nonprofit. SECOND PLACE contestant wins $2,000 for their nonprofit. The competition will be fierce! Come out and vote for your favorite contestant / nonprofit to help them win.

The TOP THREE contestants who have the best performances will win a donation prize for their nonprofit. The winners will be chosen by the Conejo Karaoke Council, a group of three judges. Performance judged on: Karaoke singing, dancing, costume, entertainment value, audience reaction, and overall performance.  (Contestants will not be judged on having or not having a professional singing voice.)
