Congratulations Richard Bradley of NPHS - CVUSD's February 2022 Teacher of the Month!
To put it simply: learning is fun in Richard Bradley’s Social Studies classes at Newbury Park High School. A veteran in the classroom, with more than 15 years as an educator, Mr. Bradley is both well-respected and well-loved by his students. We and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce Mr. Bradley as our February 2022 Teacher of the Month.
Mr. Bradley is an innovator. He participates in new experiences that inform pedagogy and courses and shares these experiences with students and co-workers. He also engages students in diverse activities and supports them using different learning modalities.
Positivity is at the center of Mr. Bradley’s instruction. He goes above and beyond to provide fun experiences for students to help them engage with their instruction. He also makes sure to recognize students for their accomplishments by nominating them for Student of Character and Lakers Student of the Month awards.
Outside of the classroom, he provides students with a love for sports, while teaching life lessons. His success has been recognized through his selection as one of the top 100 Coaches in the Nation through the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Double Goal Coach Award program.
He is an amazing member of the Newbury Park High School and Conejo Valley Unified School District community.
On Wednesday, February 24th the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Conejo Valley Unified School District surprised Mr. Bradley with the February 2022 Teacher of the Month recognition during a virtual staff meeting. Mr. Bradley was presented with a “virtual commemorative plaque” (a plaque will be delivered to Mr. Bradley). Thank you Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce for your continued partnership for the Teacher of the Month Recognition program. Congratulations Mr. Bradley!
