CVUSD to Launch Communications Committee - Application Now Available
The purpose of the Conejo Valley Unified School District Communications Committee is to discuss ongoing districtwide communication efforts and initiatives, and for members to work collaboratively and creatively with the District's Communications team to promote the extensive offerings and unique opportunities available to students in our CVUSD schools and programs.
Goals

Establish a committee built on the principle of two-way engagement with stakeholders

Make information easily accessible

Strengthen transparency and best practices through high communication standards

Build common narratives for important, districtwide projects and programs

Celebrate the diversity of our stakeholders, their varied interests, and cultivate inclusive communications/messaging to effectively engage all audiences
Membership
-
Who: The Communications Committee will be comprised of a cross-section of stakeholders with varied interests and points of view within the CVUSD community, including: teachers, staff and parents/guardians.

When: The Communications Committee will meet monthly during the academic year.
Membership Requirements

Desire to be engaged in advancing CVUSD and its schools in its communication and engagement with its constituents

Willingness to meet, learn, problem solve, innovate and champion CVUSD communications that serve and engage all constituencies

CVUSD parent/guardian or employee
-
A commitment to one year of service (monthly meetings) as a Communications Committee member
