Now Accepting Applications: School Choice Committee
The Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking two qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee which will serve as the School Choice Committee (“SCC”). Applicants must be the parent/guardian of a current CVUSD student, and may not be an employee of the Conejo Valley Unified School District. This committee reviews the Board Policy and Administrative Regulation for potential updates each school year.
Committee Responsibilities
The School Choice Committee shall:
- Review current board policy and administrative regulation
- Make recommendations to the Assistant Superintendent, Instructional Services
- Assistant Superintendent, Instructional Services will present the SCC’s recommendation to Executive Cabinet and the Board of Education
Appointment of Committee Members
All appointments will be made by the Assistant Superintendent, Instructional Services from applications submitted to the District.
Time Commitment and Term
Each member shall serve a term of two years, commencing as of the date of appointment by the District and ending on the last day of the second term. No member may serve more than one term.
