Weathersfield Elementary is one of 36 schools in the state of California to receive the recognition.

“This award is a validation of the incredible commitment to excellence our teachers and support staff have made to our students and families over the past few years,” said, Laurie Davis, Principal of Weathersfield Elementary School. “I want to thank my school team, our PTA, school community, and the CVUSD for keeping the “drive alive” and never giving up on the most important aspect of our job- educating our children both academically and social emotionally! Our team is truly amazing, GO EAGLES!”

·    Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools – These are among their state’s highest performing in closing achievement gaps between a school’s student groups and all students.

Weathersfield Elementary School is recognized as an Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing School.

“It is a phenomenal accomplishment for a school to receive the National Blue Ribbon Schools Award and I am incredibly proud of the whole Weathersfield team and community,” said Dr. Mark McLaughlin, Superintendent of Schools for Conejo Valley Unified School District. “Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!”
