Conejo Chinese Cultural Association Visits CVUSD Summer Camp

Student Commissioners of CCCA share Chinese culture with summer campers

On Monday, August 8 CVUSD Child Care summer campers at Madrona Elementary School took part in an afternoon of fun, cultural activities made possible by the Student Commission of the Conejo Chinese Cultural Association.


The Student Commissioners of the Conejo Chinese Cultural Association led campers in a variety of hands on activities including - origami, tangrams and chopstick tutorials.


The goal of the Student Commission of the Conejo Chinese Cultural Association is to, "understand the common and unique qualities of youth from diverse backgrounds through cultural outreach and to empower youth to execute innovative ideas by creating opportunities and maximizing available resources."
