Welcome to Westlake Hills

Our educational program benefits greatly from a spirit of cooperation and respect for others, fostered by motivated students, supportive parents, and a dedicated staff.  Westlake Hills' outstanding teachers are highly-trained, enthusiastic and caring professionals who share as their common philosophy, excellence for all and the promotion of life-long learning.  Expectations are high for all students and developmentally appropriate.  Teachers provide differentiated instruction that supports and empowers each student to achieve his or her personal best.

Westlake Hills Elementary School is a National Blue Ribbon School, a California Distinguished School, as well as a two-time Governor's Performance Award recipient and a California Business Council Honor School.  A walk through our lovely campus reveals students learning in a well-appointed, comfortable, and engaging atmosphere.  Observers quickly notice why we have received national and statewide recognition for exceptional academic and enrichment programs.  The Westlake Hills "Wildcats" are well-rounded students who benefit from having a strong academics-focused educational program balanced with a developmental approach that encourages children to be active, creative and to play.
